He's ok thank god. I know this is you tube footage but I saw this on my local news today and figured it would be on YT by now, plus my local station didnt have a direct link to the video.

The parents are morons. The kid should not have been near the field in the first place.

Apparently, the University had some sort of kids program where there were kids playing on the sidelines during the game.

This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the footage on CNN. Why in the world is this baby so close to the field??? Program or no program, there is no reason for this, they should have had them playing somewhere else. I'm an adult and I wouldn't stand this close to a field during a game. All I could think was, "Wow, that's GOTTA hurt." He received over 30 stitches. Poor baby. But they also showed footage of him playing a couple of days later and he is a true soldier. Such a little man.

The boy and his parents were on the Today show this morning. His dad said something along the line of, "He'll have a scar on his forehead. He's going to be the next Harry Potter. We're looking to sign a contract." He was kidding, of course, but still...

After their last season, CSU may be able to use the kid.

At least he made the receiver fall down.

Their defense didn't do much of that toward the end of the season.

Seriously, I don't think he should have been on the sidelines, but credit the player and the Colorado State staff for their immediate actions.

I can't believe he was allowed to be that close to the field.

But anyway, he will probably be bragging about it once he starts school: "A REAL football player TACKLED me!!!" I've substituted preschool classes before, and I could so see half of those 3 and 4-year olds telling their friends about it.
