It's a summer show, so yeah, it's been a year. VERY long.

It was OK.

No, Claudia Joy. Evelynn has not grieved because you were too wrapped up in your own to see she was hurting too. I still think the running off with the older guy storyline was dumb.

Denise: WOMP, WOMP!!!!

The "nephew" trying to take over the Hump Bar/Betty's was predictable.

And if Michael had enough power to have Evelynn's boyfriend moved to Korea, he should have enough power to have Joan not go to Iraq! (Good point, Mom!)

Well I knew Emmalin's boyfriend was moving away b/c he's one of the stars of the upcoming Vampire Diaries on the CW.

I liked the premiere. It set things up for a good season.

It was nice seeing Pamela go back to her "cop roots". It would be cool for her to not be a 'stay at home army wife' anymore and maybe go back to the force. But I doubt that will happen since Chase is Delta. It would be nice if she would get her radio show back.

Obviously something bad is gonna happen to Roxy and Trevor since they talked about the credit cards being maxed. I have a feeling from the previews that Trevor injurs or kills someone via a friendly fire incident.

As for Emmalin, I get that she and her parents are still grieving over the loss of Amanda, but does that really make an excuse for her running off with her 'too old' boyfriend (she is only 16) to get married. We all know she did it because she didn't want to leave him behind to go to Europe.

Quite honestly the Denise and hubby storyline is getting old. It has been the same thing since season 1. Denise and hubby are growing apart and hubby can't and won't (really) accept any changes on the part of Denise. Seriously if Denise were a real person and my friend I'd tell her "go to marriage counseling or just get a divorce already" (I don't condone extra-marital affairs, just divorce the person or go to counseling).

I didn't like Jennifer or her husband from the beginning. . . but I guess you need antagonists. . .
