StealthMode, if you talk to DrPhil regularly, please let her know that many of us are thinking about her.

Please leash your puppies, y'all! I'm a Small Pawser, and someone hit a six-month-old bichon frise puppy and left the scene. A Good Samaritan took him to a shelter, but they put a hold on him, in case his owner showed up. FIVE DAYS LATER, Small Paws Rescue was able to get him to a vet, but the baby died from untreated swelling of the brain. There's a lot of gnashing of teeth over why the puppy couldn't have been released to at least be vetted!

...your moms can throw down all like that? wait, you're in Chicago. There have to be 100s of decent soul food places.

As I said this about this place I found yesterday, I'll take wifey sometime next week as a surprise (instead of the "usual suspect" restaurants), and my boys and I will probably hook up there as well. I have to try the peach cobbler next. I'd tell you about it but I don't want to get you all madd again.

Poor Teddy. I'm glad he's all better now, though. I wish you could've taken his picture with the goggles on. I'll bet that was freaking hilarious!

Yep. But it wasn't me who saved him, the other vet I work with did.

Ya know, I am so mad. I don't know why I do this to myself. But that lady is at Starbucks again. She's actually one of my clients but she loves to talk. She is so annoying! Every time she sees me out and about, she invites herself to sit down at my table, and she just talks. What makes me angry is that she seems to be at the same places I enjoy going to -- A LOT. I was standing in line at Starbucks just now and I noticed her waiting for her coffee. I just turned around and left. I can't even sit down, have a small cup of mocha and read my book without her bothering me. I waited to see if she was going to leave but she sat down. Ugh!! Would you just like.... leave already?! My God!

UGH, I'm learning SPSS in my Sociological Research Methods class and it is so incredibly boring. I feel for you on that one.

lol, for realz? No, you did not just tell her to tell her client that. How would feel if you had a pet and you saw your pet's doctor at a coffee shop, you come over to chit chat, and she tells you to fuck off? Rotfl!

Lol! Right. But, I was just posting what CG probably wants to say to her client. I'll bet she's thinking it. The mental image of the whole thing made me Lmao!

@ CG, just tell her that you're busy and that you really would love to talk, but can't. Then tell her to fuck off and enjoy her damn coffee. Lol!

I hated that program! Found a book that really helped though, "Discovering Statistics using SPSS" great explanations and examples, got me through my thesis.
