You have lots of choices. If you haven't missed Get on Board Day, that's a great place to start. Check with student organizations even if you did. Yell crew, CCSO, and even campus crusade (if you're into that) are great places to meet lots of people. Mainly, you just have to kind of put yourself out there.
If you're in a dorm, hang in the common room. If you aren't hang around Ferguson center. Someone will eventually talk to you. It's lonely when you first start, especially if you don't know anyone, but that's normal, so hang in there!!!! I promise it will get better!! The best thing you can do is try out lots of organizations. If nothing else, hang out on the quad this Friday and Saturday. You'll have a fantastic time people watching.
