"Corpse Bride" - Tim Burton's Next Stop-Motion Animated Film
Well, the title of the film is a definite attention-getter!
Here's the website
From the website: "Corpse Bride" carries on the dark, romantic tradition of Tim Burton's classic films "Edward Scissorhands" and "Nightmare Before Christmas". Set in a 19th century European village, this stop-motion animated feature follows the story of Victor, a young man who is whisked away to the Underworld and wed to a mysterious Corpse Bride (Helena Bonham-Carter) while his real bride, Victoria (Emily Watson) waits bereft in the land of the living.
Though life in the land of the dead proves to be a lot more colorful than his strict Victorian upbringing, Victor learns that there is nothing in this world, or in the next, that can keep him from his one true love. It's a tale of optimism, romance and a very lively afterlife, told in a classic Tim Burton style.
I love stop - motion animation; can't wait to see this when it comes out in September!

Sounds interesting. I'm a big fan of Tim Burton (I'll ignore the Ape movie).

Has anyone seen this yet? I took my daughters yesterday and we all loved it.
The score wasn't one of Danny Elfman's best, though.

Corpse Bride looks really neat! I can't wait to see it.
<slight tangent>
Is anyone else a fan of the Wallace and Grommet movies? They were the first stop-action ones that I had ever seen and I think they're so cute! There's apparently a new one coming out pretty soon...</tangent>

I haven't seen the movie yet...I'm going sometime this next week to see it...anyways...I've heard that the score is nowhere near as good as the score for "Nightmare Before Christmas." I'm going to keep an open mind until I actually see it tho...

Heard that Elfman was being lazy when he wrote the musics.
