Rec Letter! Just missing one...

Hey Ladies!
I have Rec Letters for almost every chapter I need on my campus through family/friends, however I am missing one for Phi Mu . I am doing upcoming Spring Recruitment and I am totes excited! Can anyone help with connecting to a memeber or an alum of Phi Mu?
Thanks a ton!
Genny

Have you tried contacting your local alumni association?

Also ask the other ladies who have given you recs already if they know any Phi Mu sisters.

My local Alum office was actually shut down . I have two friends that are Phi Mu's now, but it doesnt help much because they are both undergrads (one of them at my university) and I need an Alum for the Recs

Psst, they may have met some alums from their chapter at homecoming or whatnot.

I was thinking the same thing, but I don't think you should ask the member from your own university. I don't think you should approach someone who is actually going to be voting on you. Don't let her know you can't find a rec. Ask your friend from the other university if she knows any Phi Mu alumnae who would be willing.

Your Phi Mu friends are your best resource. They may have Moms, aunts, sisters who are alumnae who can help you out. And they certainly have advisors, although there may be a conflict there. Regardless, they know people who can help you out.

I'd ask your Phi Mu friends to ask their advisors or other alumnae first. But something I always tell people is to consider your house of worship. Just last Sunday, I wore an ADPi pin/ring, and at least 2 high schoolers asked me about it. If you see someone wearing interesting jewelry, ask them! If they're Phi Mus, they may know someone who is.
