Just finished “Bobby Kennedy” by Chris Matthews. As a child of the ‘60s, I thought I knew all there was about the Civil Rights Movement and the continued assassinations, including Bobby Kennedy. I heard him speak in Indianapolis when I was a senior in high school.

This book adds a whole new perspective to this period and caused me to re-think that whole tumultuous decade and allowed me to consider input from people who I’d never heard quoted before.

Recently finished The World In My Eyes by Richard Blade. Great autobiography of the life of the popular DJ who grew up in England & came to the USA& brought us all the great music of The Second British Invasion. If you love the club music of the 1980's & want a trip down your college big hair days ( and even the days of the underground movement before that), this book is for you. Catch Richard Blade on XM Radio First Wave (channel 33).
