Event: The preference round is the most serious round of recruitment. You may be greeted by someone who has been special to you during the week. This round can be the most emotional because you will be deciding which sorority to join!

My emphasis added, I almost hate when schools use this wording. I know that PNMs have a voice in ranking but this is often taken by the PNM as I just chose and that's what I get.

That whole thing is full of weird wording. "Bad flip flops"? Like if your flip flops were naughty you shouldn't wear them? I also want to know who thinks business casual, dressy clothes and summer wedding attire are all pretty much the same.

Although it would be amusing if someone came in a topless cocktail dress, lol.

Preference Round - Thursday, September 18th from 7:30pm - 9:30pm

September 29th: GO Greek Events:

• Morning Event: UCLA Volunteer Day. Greek members will serve as Service Liaisons and intoduce you to life as a Bruin while on the bus to your service project.
• MANDATORY Recruitment Orientation for Upperclasswomen: 1:00 - 2:30 in Ackerman Grand Ballroom
• MANDATORY Recruitment Orientation for Freshman: 4:00-6:00 in Ackerman Grand Ballroom
• Evening Event: Bruin Bash Concert and Dance

September 30th:

• Morning Event: GO Greek Event: Enormous Activities Fair
• Afternoon Event: Recruitment Begins with Open House Round Part #1
• NOTE: Anyone who signs up to participate in recruitment after the orientation on Monday will begin recruitment on Wednesday.

Wednesday, October 1st: Recruitment Day 2 with Open House Round Part #2
Thursday, October 2nd: First Day of Classes with Service and Chapter Living Round
Friday, October 3rd: Entertainment Round
Saturday, October 4th: No recruitment in observance of the Jewish Holiday
Sunday, October 5th: Preference Round (Morning) and Bid Day (Evening)
Monday, October 6th: First Dinner on the Row and Chapter Meetings

Not quite for sure where to put this but Texas A&M has 1219 registered for recruitment and 1400 expected. Up from 900 last year. Pledge classes expected to be between 85-88 and that is if 25% drop out of the process.
