sponsor for rush shirts

I was talking within my chapter about shirts for rush in the fall and someone threw out the idea about getting a local business to help pay for the shirts and sponsor them. not sure if other people have done this in the past. any advice would be awesome.

I have never heard of this or seen it, but my experience is limited. I think that it would be really tacky. Like having your wedding "sponsored" by advertisers... hello Starr Jones Your shirts should be to promote & market your organization. They shouldn't be cluttered up with commercial business advertising.

This was very common at my school for Greek Week t-shirts or Greek event t-shirts.

Greek Week & events are very different from rush, IMHO.

Panhellenic Recruitment shirts at my school were sponsored. Not the individual sororities, but the event itself.
