Accounting

Can someone recommend a really good accounting text book?

I'm not looking for something that a CPA with 10 years of experience looks at. Something that goes into depth but isn't too jargon filled. Also the focus is financial and corporate accounting.

I saw this book online but I don't know what to make of it:

What kind of accounting? Financial, cost, audit, tax... I could point you in the right direction if you can tell me a little more of what you need or what you plan to do with it.
