I disagree with Mike's opinion on the topic. Certainly no the first or last time that will happen between brothers. However; Kappa Sigma was founded initially a the University of Bologna in 1400. The North American Founding is beleived to have occurred in 1869 as you mentioned.

Wouldn't you be pissed that you were associated with someone else's stupid behavior?

It doesn't matter what Kappas do or where they are, I am a Kappa and in a way I am associated with everything they do. It comes with being part of a NATIONAL organization.

It doesn't bother me if some girl across the country loves to show people her breasts. I don't care if these girls walk around naked in their dorm rooms. But when this happens, and the Kappa name is on it, and it is SPREAD ON THE INTERNET, I, imsohappythatiama, and any other KKG has the right to be concerned.

P.S. Kappa Sigma was founded in 1869. Do your research before you impersonate a fraternity brother

Hi there! I just came across a radio station web site with the picture posted. It says the school they are from and everything. PLUS, the site is very adult if you understand. If you want more information, please let me know.

Kappaaum, can you please let me know what site that picture is currently posted on? My understanding from Kappa HQ is that it took our attorneys to have the picture removed from the website where it was originally posted. I'm sure the Fraternity would be interested if it's made it to another website without permission of the people in the picture.

Thanks for your help.

Thumbs down

Kappaum--

Please, if you like, just forward the website address to KKG HQ. You can either call them at (614) 228-6515 or you can email them at kkghq@kappa.org

Just keeping it safe around here,

Welcome to the KKG forum, MGerrick! We're glad to have you!

(For those of you who don't know, MGerrick is a KKG from South Carolina--yet another wonderful alumna who donates her time as a chapter advisor!)

Loyally,

Kristen (imsohappythatiama)

Hi I'm So Happy!

Thank you for the welcome, and thank you also for letting everyone know about EK chapter's plans for a house! I just wanted to let you know that I forwarded that website to Kappa HQ yesterday so that they can take appropriate action. I hope it can be removed quickly. Thanks again!

Hello, Everyone!

This is my first time here at the KKG board. Dear moderator, you know me from Ebay as "Julie"!

I look forward to participating in this group. I am sad to hear of the lack of class displayed by the Kappas in question. I am confident that this is not the norm within our beloved KKG! I also have a very hard time believing that any Kappa would use the vulgar, bar room, trashy chant that one poster claims is being said. If this tacky chant is truly being used, then we really need to up our standards during rush and weed this kind of "lady" out before the issue arises.

Ugh. Enough said.

Anyway, it's nice to be here!

I've heard this picture was a complete fabrication with a group of models posing to make themselves look like topless sorority girls. Putting a [university name deleted by moderator] logo on it and typing some text on a scanned doctored picture is not hard nowadays.

I am very sorry that KKG is the brunt of this prank.

Hi fellow Greek sisters...

Hi there fellow sista's! I am not a Kappa (I'm a DZ at the University of Texas-Arlington) but Kappa is a sorority quite close to my heart since I pref'd them when I went through recruitment. Ironically, I used to go to the school where this chapter exists, and I know some of the girls in the picture. I actually found the picture pretty cute (although I know we could never do a picture like this, we'd get in big trouble!). Anyway, I hope that they aren't in too much trouble, I really think the picture was just in fun, and the girls look gorgeous. =) Happy Holidays to all of you girls!!

Does anyone know what school the chapter in question is? I'd really like to know.

Somone just told me it was [content removed by moderator]. Is that true? My niece went there a few years ago. They are a great chapter full of beautiful smart wonderful women. I think it's just their way to let off a little steam and I am heartbroken they got so much bad press for it.

Kappaum, you just posted last year that you knew of a site where people could see what school the Kappas in the picture attended. So why did you ask today if it was [name of university removed by moderator]?

You seem obsessed with the picture. Why do I doubt that you're a Kappa?
