I have a Galaxy and it broke in the case. The crack is barely visible, but you can see it if you look closely right in the corner. But everything still works.

OMG, took an hour and 40 minutes to get through and 1 minute to get resolved. FRUSTRATING!

Are you sure you weren't on hold with the Financial Aid office???

Well.. except the one time I dropped it in the toilet... the camera doesn't work now, but the rest of it is just fine! Considering Otterbox doesn't claim to make your phone waterproof, I'd say that's pretty impressive!

I dropped my Galaxy from about 3 feet above the ground and the screen shattered. Like chunks of glass fell out. Be warned, Otterbox does not ALWAYS work if your phone falls face down.

This. Either that or when it drops on the corner. That's what happened to mine.

I've always been a big fan of Billy Joel, but some of dude's chord structures are really impressive (to me, anyway).
I'm learning "And So It Goes" now, and ....let me just say that that Fm6/Ab chord might change the course of your day. ....haven't been a big fan of slash chords, but after figuring them out and how to use them, they actually make you sound like you know something. lol

Go home March, you're drunk.
Stuck at home with a snow day here in DC. Luckily I've been working extra because I've been so busy and won't have to take more than 3 hours of leave.

I'm heading to DC so I can go home to Philly and I'm freaking out thinking that I'll be stuck on campus even though as of now my train is still good to go (knock on wood!)

Trains should be fine! I think there are some service adjustments on Amtrak (both Acela and NE Regional). Flights are pretty much all cancelled out of DCA, IAD, and BWI

And Nashville, Dallas, Philly, blah blah blah. I hate handling weather waivers.
I also had a friend call me because her friend is in a panic about getting on spring break. Did she use a travel agent? I said, knowing the answer. Well, she's gonna have to sit on hold and try to figure out if a train can get her somewhere that does have flight service. Aaaand, next time use a travel agent.

Do you have any favorites by him?
My favorites are "Just the way you are", "Big Shot" and "Moving Out".

Yeah...I'm so glad where I live isn't about that life. This is the only part (other than leaving my family) that bums me out about moving. Next year's winter will be a temperature shock so I'm going to enjoy California while I can.

Back in 1997, when I was in college and living just outside Boston, we had the April Fools' Day blizzard. We got over two feet of snow. MIT cancelled classes, and MIT never cancels classes. I was snowed in at my then-fiance's apartment. A couple of days later, the temps went up to 60 degrees or so and the snow melted.

You were right! After 3 hours (which included a 20 minute delay, small fire in the front of the train) I made it home

oh, there are lots...
New York State of Mind
Piano Man
And So It Goes
Just the Way You Are
Lullabye
The Downeaster
Baby Grand
Billy J is the man. If I can learn to play just a few of his songs, I'll call that a win.
