Tekes at Washington State University
We have heard a rumor that Tekes are coming back to Washington State University this year. Can anyone tell me if they know what's really going on? I know that they won't be coming back to their old house because Phi Kap nationals bought it from Teke nationals about a year ago, so they no longer own it. We all took this as an indicator that they weren't coming back.

Yes it is going on.
The expansion team will be here (washington) within a couple weeks to get started.
From the results of the other chapters that started off with this model, should be make it from colony to chapter within 2 years.

I just spoke to the Expansion Team, and the word is that it's looking very good. Their list is currently 300-400 guys, interviews will be taking place soon, and looking to take at least 40.
So as any of you know, out of those 400 interested names, at least 40 should be TKE material.
So things are looking good, if you know any quality men at Washington State, pass their name on. 40 is a good chapter, but 80 quality men is even better.

One of the members of the expansion team was here during dinner last week collecting names of men of potential Teke material. He was very friendly, very funny and all the girls loved him. Just two days later we recieved a thank you card for the names, and also a bouquet of roses. Man, do you guys know how to treat some girls right! He also handed out TKE shirts to women who gave names, and I have since seen them all over campus. I have to say, that's a great PR move!

Update
The expansion team has picked out 26 Men to restart Alpha Gamma. It's short of the goal of 40, but they are fired up for rush and recieved extensive training from some of the best.

I just stopped by AG with Greg Roskopf, (Region 3 consultant) this past week, seems to be a strong group of guys, still workin on getting more people involved, still looking for alumni support - (if any alumni in the area are out there)
With the help of Chi (100+man chapter) next fall, they should be all set on their way to becoming a chapter and hopefully gettin their old house back from the Sigma Chi chapter there.
