U. of Florida Greek Life In Need of Improvement, Report Says

The August 1 '05 online Gainsville [I[Sun[/] has an article about a recent consultants' report that identifies areas where the U. of Florida's Greek system needs improvement.

http://www.gainesville.com/apps/pbcs...1039/1078/news

According to the article there are numerous recommendations for action, some of which may be implemented in the coming school year.

Grades, alcohol abuse, physical condition of housing, etc. are mentioned in the article.

I've tried several searches of the university's site but haven't yet been able to find a link to the report. Maybe some of our Florida GCers can help? Or someone who's just good at constructing searches?

Thats a bunch of crap. UF, FSU and UCF are some of the last places in the country where you can still get a real greek experience.

Congratulation, Tri-Deltas, on your new house. It is gorgeous! I love the colonial architecture for Greek houses.

omg...

I can't believe they spent 5,000+ to find that out. The three points made in the article could be clearly noted if a greek community forum was held to voice concerns. As far as the dangers in the houses, where is the inspector? I hope the problems are fixed quickly though.
