International chapters in *separate* organization?
In regards to a recent comment in anoter thread about "Nationals" being fingernails on chalkboard since they have Canadian chapters, I'm curious as to whether any other Greek Letter Organizations have done what Alpha Phi Omega has done. For Alpha Phi Omega the chapters in the Philippines (and in Canada when they stand on their own) are separate National Organizations with an international council made of 3 delegates from each of the National Organizations.
In that regards, Alpha Phi Omega - USA and Alpha Phi Omega Philippines have an official relationship like Boy Scouts of America and Boy Scouts of the Philippines as separate members of the World Organization of Scouting Movements.
