This documentary now on Netflix deals with rape on college campuses and the conspiracy to cover it up. News stories about rape are bad for business at universities because they risk losing federal funding due to Title IX violations.
A Delta Zeta speaks about reporting Jameis Winston (now NFL QB) for assulting her. The women all said that their schools didn't take their claims seriously, particularly not when the defendant played football or basketball. Professors who spoke up against the status quo were retaliated against by being dismissed. Fraternities were mentioned, but many of the cases involved student athletes.
