All of these houses are gorgeous!!!! Y'all are sooo lucky! My old school/city doesn't allow Greek houses. Greeks can get a house and however many can live there and call it "the house" but we're not allowed to post any letters outside. and if you have one too many rowdy parties, ( like 2 lol), your house is tagged for being a greek house and watched like a hawk for any other parties. it sucks wish I would have gone to a greek friendly school, but i had fun with my girls

Our chapter at Clemson (which was just chartered a year ago) has recently finished contruction on its house.

Here is a link to the Chi Phi Clemson Chapter house here.

I think its interesting because
A.) I still dont think they are a part of IFC
B.) I think all of the fraternities are being forced into a "Greek Village" next fall

BrownEyedGirl...

Are those towns far from Clemson? I couldnt imagine having to get up to commute to class every day.

This makes me sad - the phi delt house at Penn State is going to be torn down. It's one of the very few that's actually on campus, and the condition had deteriorated so that it had to be completely rebuilt.

"The house deed, signed in 1905, stipulates that should the fraternity no longer wish to use the property, the university has the right to purchase the land for a price agreed upon by both parties.

The fraternity had a choice of renovating the house, constructing a new house at the site or selling the property and relocating."

So they got $1.1 million to relocate.

I remember going to parties there as a freshman - a gorgeous house.

Hey Jill! You forgot the Zeta house! jk!

It is known as the Panhellenic house now. Even though our chapter is currently closed at SMU, ZTA still owns the house and leases it out to other groups for their overflow. It is gorgeous, too!

I think it is great to see everyone's homes. They're all so interesting.
