Wow. That's amazing. Those are BIG awards for a chapter that was just installed a few weeks ago (especially Greek Org of the Year).

More awards/accomplishments:

Delta Delta (UNC-Chapel Hill) won Greek Week!

Eta Xi (Ursinus College) chapter's President was named President of Sororities for 2010 (I'm assuming that is something like a Panhellenic preisdent).

Omicron chapter (Eastern Mich) was named a Chapter of Excellence.

An Alpha Omicron (University of Central Arkansas) chapter sister was named Greek Woman of the Year!

Thank you for including this! This is the first time a Sigma has been president of this group. It is very exciting and the sisters/chapter are very proud! I don't believe the campus offers "Chapter of the Year", "Greek Woman" etc (I know it didn't when I was there)- but I might shoot an email her way and see if it would be something the campus might be interested in starting!

Kudos to North Jersey Alumnae Chapter for helping an area animal shelter in need. The link is from a chapter member's (pretty cool) pet owner/lifestyle blog!

From HQ:

Alpha Pi (Clarion University) is taking the lead along with Clarion University Alumni, family, friends and the other Clarion University sororities to raise over $2100.00 and purchase over 120 new winter coats for Operation Warm in Clarion County. On December 9, 2010 the last of the coats were delivered to Clarion-Limestone Elementary School.

The coats from Operation Warm are a tremendous help in meeting the needs of families in Clarion County. This is a true community effort as students and alumni from Clarion University raised the funds to purchase and deliver Operation Warm winter coats to Clarion County children.
