Time flies, doesn't it?
DaffyKD, how well I remember and appreciate what a support you were to me during that stressful time! I didn't realize what a mess I would be. My husband was so thankful that I had my KD sisters to calm me down.
I should have mentioned in my earlier post that, despite the expected level of stress, my daughter's recruitment went well. She had a nearly full schedule with each round, and wound up preffing the three sororities that had been her favorites from the beginning; she would have been happy in any of them. I knew which three they were, but she didn't tell me how she ranked them until she called me on Bid Night, screaming with excitement, that she had received a bid from her first choice... which also happened to be her 3rd generation legacy house
It was an unforgettable experience to attend her initiation and pin my badge on her, as my mother (her grandmother) looked on!
Again, I wish nothing but the best for Twizzler, and for all of the Northwestern PNMs & chapters.
