Strange Charm

Okay, so I'm checking out the officials Quills on Masters of Design's website. Hubby is getting me a pearled one for my birthday next month. Anyways, under the charms/pendants section there is this "purse charm" that is a sterling silver charm in the shape of a handbag with AZD letters on it.

Okkkkaaaaayyyyyy.....? What in the world could that be for? Can someone explain that one to me please? The link is here.

I think it's just supposed to be cute. I looked, and they have "purse charms" for other sororities in their colors. I don't think it has any special signficance...

....okay....

I don't really think it's cute...in fact I think it's ugly. I just don't understand why someone would want a charm in the shape of a purse with your sorority's letters on it....

Maybe I just don't "get it."

I agree - it's not the cutest charm I've ever seen with letters on it. Far from it. But if it doesn't sell that well it might just go away. I do like the flip-flop charm that's on ebay right now with letters on it but thats prob. b/c I love shoes!

Flip-flop charm
MUST.

HAVE.

FLIPFLOP CHARM.

That is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I think the purse one is hideous, though.

I think these originated from Mirabelle - I saw a lot of these in St. Martin - pretty expensive but beautiful...but I have to agree - I dont care much for the ones on Masters of Design

Okay, I saw about 7 (or 12!) of the purse charms that I LOVE on that website. They make the one on MOD's website look like a toy for a small child.

It all makes sense now!
