How is this book? I've read all of this book and I'm very anxious to start reading his latest book.
I'm so happy now because Maintenance Man is coming to my city! I get to go and I will tell you all how I liked it.

Is it just me or did the book seem like Micheal was talking about himself?

I read this book for my book club and I really disliked it. Tell me what your thoughts are when you're done.

Hey Delph998,
I finished it and I would have to say it was just okay. I wouldn't recommend it.
I just picked up Blind Ambition by Lolita Files.

Yesterday I went to a Book review about "When Chickenheads Come home........" I think this is the kind of book both Brothers and Sisters should pick up as it deals with Black Feminism but it can open the eyes of brothers as to issues as sisters see them!

I concur. Very good book. And I've only read a few select chapters.
I am also STILL reading The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. VERY GOOD read!!! I'm only a little past half-way through. But it helps to understand cut-throat people, and how they operate. It also helps in relating to fellow employees, especially the worker-supervisor relationship. I'd recommend it.

I agree totally, and I was glad to see you again, especially since I'm one of the millions (and millions) of the sphinxpoet's fans!!! And when I get some money, I plan to purchase a few copies of the book to give to my sisters and friends, as well as one for myself.

I've been reading this book for the past year - its very interesting I'm just having a hard time reading it all in one setting - I read a couple of rules and then put it down. I'm up to #36.

Coming soon
When they come out, I plan to buy and read Always Wear Joy: My Mother Bold and Beautiful, the biography of actress/black "swan" (AKA glamour girl) Josephine Premice, written by her daughter Susan Fales-Hill of "Different World" and "Linc's" fame.
Also on my coming attractions is the memoir by Andre Leon Talley, the Vogue editor-at-large.

I've been reading it for about 3 months. I feel you, you can't just read it straight through. I think I'm on rule #26. Whatever the one is after Be The Perfect Courtier (which is my favorite chapter so far).

What Books are You Reading?
Greetings,
Currently I am reading the book The 48 Laws of Power. It is a very interesting read and I would encourage anyone that works in corporate America to pick it up.
Peace and Love,
