Recently, a virtual commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the initiation of Bro. Dr. Edmund W. Gordon in Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was held. He reflects here on the importance of his experience in the Fraternity in relation to the importance of scholarship and the value of mentorship. Dr. Gordon is the John M. Musser Professor of Psychology, Emeritus at Yale University.
