Is miscommunication (or lack there of) a virtue these days?
I started a new job on 8/30 it's now 9/27 and guess what, no paycheck yet. So I asked one of the staff today what is up, she told me that she had not recieved any time sheets from me. Time sheets? WTF? My FIRST DAY I asked what the proceedures were, for example do I clock in. I WAS NOT TOLD ANYTHING BY ANYONE ABOUT A TIME SHEET! Because of that failed communication I won't see any cash until the end of OCTOBER.
Yo Dawg, that sux. When I got a job with the state I learned that state employees only get paid once a month. I started on the 3rd of November that year. Since I wasnt in the system on the first, I ddint get a check that month. I had to go 7 weeks w/o a check. I finally got paid December 20. It was rediculous.
I had never been so broke. EVER. Can mom and dad help out a bit? Look at it this way, when you do get paid, you'll have mad-SHAKEY amounts of cashola up in your acct.
