Love the snap part, LOL! Sounds so 70-80's. Got to love the group feeling with your fellow members and just hanging together. All of the planning for charity events parties, school events, or sporting events! That is how you find out who your fellow members are and love them even more.
It means even more after Graduation when you go out into the real world. You keep in touch with old members and do so over the years.

Lots of good memories, but at the very top:

1) Meals in the dining hall. Always good conversation and many laughs.
2) Random crazy/silly stuff. Like racing down the stairs in laundry baskets, or singing country songs on the balcony, etc.
3) Holiday Party/gift exchange. Playboy mags and 6-pack of beers were popular gifts.
4) Getting ready for special events. This probably sounds girly, but it was like getting ready for a wedding; in every room throughout the house all the brothers were getting dressed for formals, Initiation ceremony, and chapter events that took precedence.
5) New member move-in. We had Informal Rush, so no "bid day". All the new members moved in the weekend before school started, so it was cool to meet them and help them move their stuff into their rooms.
