Hell yeah - there's a LOT to do here in Cali. Depends on what you're looking for...personally, I think CA is the best place for everyone...can suit anyone's needs.

Personally, I recommend San Francisco and Los Angeles...

What are you mainly looking for though? Clubs, shopping, beaches, etc.??

We're mainly looking for beaches I guess. We're all under 21 though so a lot of clubs are off limits to us. Where do you recommend? Thanks

For Beaches I'd recommend Manhattan Beach or the Newport Beach-Balboa Island area.

I really like the Carmel Beaches - SO pretty...white-sand beaches!!!! It kinda depends though - are you leaning toward NorCal or SoCal?

We're leaning probably as north as we can find a cool beach and place to stay etc. Oh, and should we stay in a hotel or rent like a beach house type thing for the week? If you have experience let me know which is better. I know a hotel is cheaper but if there are a bunch of us going I was thinking it might be fun to have a whole beach house to ourselves. wbs

having a whole beach house to yourself would be fun! But, my family was just about to rent one in Carlsbad (between San Diego and Orange County) and it was going to cost over $3000 for one week. 2 bedroms, and it didn't even look that nice. We quickly found a better way to spend our $3000!!!

But, that's just one place we experienced. If you can find a good deal, you should go for it! There's nothing like having your own kitchen, rooms, living room etc, for a week right on the beach!
