Could be. But next time we're in chat I want to do an experiment where we all google the same terms and see if we get identical results.

Sure thing. We'll have to control for Google Instant and 'Safe Search'

Re: the ADPi perp. Perhaps it's finally dawned on the unfortunate woman that her actions are not acceptable, nor are they amusing, and that there are going to be some consequences headed her way? For anyone to think that you can falsify information (including GLO membership) in this day and age of "instant information at your fingertips" is just stupid.

I check Google daily, just to see what the doodle might be. There have been some amazing ones recently!

Okay, I'll bite. Look, "Sunshine", you scared the daylights out of a great chapter of women when you claimed membership and inferred that nationals had sent you. Can you imagine how frightened they were when they found out they'd hosted a woman on their hall for a week and she wasn't even an ADPi?

And the alums...do you think they'd initiate you now after what you pulled? Especially with all the ADPi regalia on your FB page? They're angry enough that they've contacted every alum group of not only their sorority but other sororities that they've heard you're trying to AI with under your real name and others. These women have contacted their national HQs and they're on the lookout.

I don't care if half the world sees your FB profile. What you did was sick.

Who cares if she's creeped out? She should be after what she pulled. Telling people about her is only going to ensure that people know who she really is if she contacts college chapters.

Yes. It also takes into account other searches you've done, so everyone's mileage may differ. I tried googling the name, state and nickname and did't see it -- my first hit was a chapter's facebook page.

Word. This person is so far beyond the usual pathetic 'can i haz ai?' person we see here. She has done real damage to people irl and the fact that she's continuing to pursue adpis and other sorority members after being outed goes way beyond creepy. Obviously she is mentally ill and delusional. I feel sorry for her but I don't think it is unreasonable at all to feel she may be dangerous. People need to know about her. And for fucks sake, if you're going to photoshop your face onto a sorority logo, post it publicly on facebook and join a bunch of sorority groups there, you have no expectation of privacy.

Could be. I've seen whackadoo's fb page previously, but I tried the name + location + ADPi and couldn't find it that way.

And yeah, I don't feel bad at all about this person being "outed." She preyed on a chapter that needed help and was open and trusting. Booooooooo

Jacki,

I'm going to try to be as polite about this as possible, but let's look at some of the facts other than what's already been mentioned.

Let's assume that you did pledge Alpha Delta Pi 25 years ago. One of the very first items you had to learn during your pledgeship was the value of scholarship. Read the Creed, if you can't remember that particular part. With that in mind, how in the world did you NOT make your grades?

Now, maybe that chapter decided to give you one more chance - you obviously blew that chance, too. After that, no chapter's going to take the risk of someone who can't make her first obligation. This is not "unsisterly", it's common sense, something that you have been missing out on for a while, it would seem.

I've seen your FaceBook page. Exactly who do you think you are? You terrified some naive chapter members, became a parent's worst nightmare, EO is very much onto you, and frankly, you're an embarrassment. I amthisclose to contacting FaceBook, and telling them that you're a perp, but you'd probably just change your name, color your hair, and post a new identity. The pin that you got on ebay (or whatever) should burn a hole into your clothing everytime you try to wear it. It's not yours to wear. You had the chance (by your own admission) but didn't live up to the proper standards, so take that pin OFF and either sell it, give it to a REAL ADPi, or send it back to EO. If somehow you know even a word of our ritual, you best start deleting that from your memory, because even as a perp, you're not as good at it as you think.

Rather than really get into a feeding frenzy here, I'm going to let you try to redeem yourself. You need to do some big time apologizing and get your act together. It's not flattering to be over 43 years old and still lying about your "sorority membership". It's no longer cute, and can only has people thinking that you have some psychiatric issues.

I'll be checking your FB page in a few days. If it's still the same, I will do what I can to bring you down.

You may be a Yankee, but that was one fine job of paraphrasing 'bless your heart.'

Isn't what Jacki has done on her FB profile a violation of Alpha Delta Pi intellectual property rights? That's reportable, and a violation of FB rules. However, ADPi EO, as the owner, has to be the reporting party.

As for wearing a pin of an organization she doesn't belong to - shudder. That is just wrong.

I don't get why it's so terrible to Google someone. The information is public. If you put yourself out there, you can't have an expectation that no one will find you. I Google a lot of things.

Add to the fact that people here are complaining about a perp, gave her name, her location and the sorority she pledged, it's human nature to be curious as to what everyone is talking about.

And yes, the internet search came to a chapter's FB page, but if you look at the "fan" list (I didn't click the link), this woman's picture and name was the very first one shown on the side of the page.

I just put two and two together that the name POSTED HERE IN THIS THREAD, the fact that her public profile lists that she attended school in the STATE THAT PEOPLE POSTED IN THIS THREAD during the TIME THIS WOMAN SAID SHE PLEDGED, and all the images related to THE SORORITY THAT THIS WOMAN AND OTHER PEOPLE POSTED ON GREEKCHAT

If people are posting about something/someone, they should expect that others will be interested and do a quick search online.

I'm not doing anything with the information that is already out there and very readily available to ANYONE. Again, I don't get why it's such a crime here.
