Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity brass oil lamp !!
This supposed brother is selling yet another of these bogus items on eBay. It's just a cheap import he scratches the name into but it is worthless - has nothing to do with LCA.
There's a big difference between a guy trying to make some money honestly, and ripping off brothers. It's painful to watch.
Caveat Emptor!

Brother diggler00, I hope I can call you Brother, thanks for the Info, and welcome to GC!! Great Brother Brothers Here!
Yep, if you check ebay, one is on! I bought the first and it is a peice of Crap and the LXA on it looks like an Etch-o-sketch!
This guy says he is a Brother! If he is, I am sorry that he is for the crap and sweet words he has put on the ebay site! He is also the same one selling Neon LXA lights!
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS GUY! It is Crap and the shipping sucked! Safty shipping BS!
I am venting a lot but feel he desearves it!!
Sorry,
In ZAX,

Same guy has put another "LXA" Lamp on ebay just under the other one!
What a sad state someone who purports himself as a Brother!

On a semi-related note, there is a BEAUTIFUL, MINT condition Theta Kappa Nu pin on ebay as well - very nice! No way I can afford the current bid price, but would I love to have one of those!

You know, you can just call our fraternity suppliers. Ihling brothers I think, and just buy a greek lamp.

Ihling Bro. is now called Kalamazoo Regalia, but they don't have our lamps. If you want one like the one picture on the lambdachi.org homepage they are available from Collegiate Regalia (apparently a div. of Burr, Patterson & Auld).
They have a website but I called them in Winnetka IL (800-565-8227) or try their office in Rhode Island (888-748-8251). The website lists a Lamp of Knowledge and a Lamp of Learning, but they're the exact same item.
These are the plated lamps and cost $35 plus shipping. But they are "right" ones.

I took a digital picture, but don't see a way to post it. The IMG button doesn't do it. Anybody know how to do that?
