Trump wants the wall
Trump wants a BIG wall
Barbed wire and concrete
To stop immigrants feet
From crossing at all
Trump wants THE WALL
Not the Pink Floyd one
Built by the army
To satisfy how he
Can Trump everyone
"Give it to me, NOW!"
Trump wants the wall
Trump wants a tall wall
Paid for by Congress
But it's such a big mess
And yet Trump still bawls: "Don't. Care. How. I WANT IT NOOOOOOOOOW!"

After school on this warmer-than-average last day of Winter five enterprising young boys opened this year's first local lemonade-and-snacks stand, so I happily purchased a few bagged snacks to stash inside the glovebox.
Any other good signs of Spring out there in GCland?

Truly not my intention, and definitely not my words at all. Please remove your post. Not nice.

With the end of the Mueller investigation came the United States losing its collective mind.
Now investigations are being opened on the investigation. And new investigations are starting on Hilary Clinton. And people are now claiming that Mueller is a Republican so "of course he found no collusion." And others are being obnoxious and cheering because of "liberal snowflakes" crying.
What the f*** is wrong with everyone? When did we all decide that we hate each other? When are the citizens and the government going to get back to focusing on the formulation of good ideas and policies that will help out their fellow man?
We've all gone mad. Seriously.

The world is very angry these days. I find it exhausting. I have no idea how or when it will end. I'm afraid it's going to take a real tragedy to get people united at all. The noise is deafening and the hatred is disheartening.
The only thing that gives me joy is the dog twitterverse.

Sadly, you're probably right.
The only thing that gives me comfort is to believe that it's just a handful of crazies screaming the loudest and most people are sensible and decent.

What’s really now beginning to get under my skin is this whole “white privilege” unfairness, still unchanged. Can’t even sit in a Starbucks without leaving in cuffs with the police, etc. last time I checked, integration is not just the diversity of color. Integration is the sharing of power, resources, and responsibility. I wonder what would have happened to Obama is he was like the idiot we have in office now. Interesting.

That's a really interesting question...I'm constantly amazed by what we "shake our heads at" with Trump, but he continues to survive, politically. He seems to get away with things that no one else does.

Generally, whites get away with what African-Americans can’t get away with. It’s called “white priviledge”. I already knew the answer to my own sarcasm. Obama would have been impeached. No question about it.

Yea, exactly. Remember when Obama wore a tan suit and people lost their minds? Can you imagine if he did even half of what Trump has done?
And then there's also the sexism. It amazes me how many people, even fully admitting that they don't like Trump and think he's terrible for the country, say that Hilary wouldn't have been any better. And they're truly adamant about it.
Look, I don't think either one of them were great options. But the things people - mostly men - have said to me about her... it's astonishing. No one provides a good reason why she shouldn't be the president instead, so they start stumbling over their words and/or make the most asinine arguments.
There was someone sitting near me at a bar last week that started a conversation with the bartender. The bartender ranted for a few minutes about how much he can't stand Trump. Then when he was asked, "So at this point, do you think Hilary would have been a better option?" he replied, "Hell no." When asked why, he said because her husband cheated on her and she stayed with him. So... Trump cheats on his spouse(s) repeatedly and pays off porn stars, but because Hilary was cheated on 20+ years ago and decided to work it out with her spouse, that puts her below Trump in terms of governing the country.
This is where we're at.

Exactly, I totally agree. I couldn’t agree more. It’s just a bunch of double standard BS. It’s all (more likely than not) going to get worse. Peoples minds have gone in the gutter.
