Yay! Would anyone think that they'll use Iota as the chapter designation? Caldwell College merged with Centre a while, while back.

Per the email just sent, it looks like it will be Iota!

That's so exciting for y'all to get a long-gone single letter chapter back! Is it a Fall 2016 colonization?

Pulling lots of info from the soror_extension twitter account:
Gamma Phi Beta is presenting at Colorado Mesa University
Missouri State University has invited Alpha Omicron Pi to colonize Fall 20216
Towson University Delta Phi Epsilon and Rutgers University Alpha Gamma Delta had their respective bid days
Yale Alpha Phi received their charter this past weekend
And Clemson's expansion presentations will be in April, I don't know when or who's presenting at this time.

Sad when none look at Pittsburg State Un. Kansas with only 3 Sororities and now seven Fraternities! SAE just came on campus last year, so now, looking at LXA,SX,SigEp,Pike, PST, STG. I do not care about averages, there is an imbalance! I went there and follow Greeks there! So there!

That's not how it works. As has already been explained more than once. Just because you think that number of chapters is the only factor that matters, doesn't make it so. For reference, my campus had 7 NPC sororities and 32 NIC fraternities. It was fine.

This. Comparing the total number of sorority members and fraternity members on a given campus can often be more revealing than simply comparing the number of chapters. Sorority chapters often have double or triple the number of members than do fraternity chapters on the same campus.

Speaking of Hartwick, Theta Phi Alpha posted a few pics from their colony Bid Day #1.

Wow, that's a lot of women with more to come this weekend!
I know IP can't edit, but does anyone recall whether Hartwick increased sorority total? (IP lists 20)

Not sure what total is these days at Hartwick. AOII has been the only national with a few locals. I just know I love the AOII house there. So pretty.

Presently at Hartwick:
AOII and two local sororities.
Three fraternities: Alpha Sigma Phi, Kappa Sigma, Teke.

Did one of the locals go national?
