Ebay, eehh. I had a gown that I was trying to get rid of and I had a difficult time on the Bay'. I sold it on Craigslist within 2 days of posting it. Also, I know of a website dedicated to selling used gowns. Its preownedweddingdresses.com.
I have some dresses I'm going to post there. They only charge you once to post no matter how long your item is on there. Ebay, you get charged every time you re-list it. The thing I didnt like with ebay was that I noticed that people constantly tried to be cheap and talk me down from my set price. The dress at the time was never used and in new condition. The price I posted was a fair price. It had a LOT of views and a lot of saved items but no takers after I re-listed the item 2x's.

I take it Lucky is a Samoyed?
An ADPi sister trains hers for agility, and they're both close to whatever the title is for Champion in Agility (I should listen a bit closer!).

Actually Lucky is an American Eskimo but Samoyeds just look like giant Luckys to me. I knew they were the other breed but even when we were watching the Westminster dog show live-in and I could not get over how similar the two breeds look, minus size.
We're pretty sure even Lucky himself couldn't tell the difference.

See, I'd really like to have my chinchillas at my wedding, but everyone says I'm crazy.

She was referring to the fact she had her wedding at a place that features animals and I may be holding my wedding at a place that features animals, not that we had/will have pet animals at our wedding. I think we may hold the wedding/reception at an aquarium. After emailing the coordinator more often, I'm starting to like the idea more and more.

It seems like an aquarium would be a very appropriate place for someone named "DolphinChica" to get married!

I had posted before about china pattern issues and I've changed the one that we registered for. Not many people are fond of it, but I love it and I can't imagine anything else!

I didn't realize registering for china actually involved things from the Ming Dynasty.

FWIW I think the china pattern is too pretty to eat off! Very fancy!
And KSig that was so wrong - and so funny!

My dad sent me pictures of my brother's wedding. His third wife looks a lot like his first two wives!

I planned to use the Portland Art Museum, I thought it was a good space, affordable, and I liked that my guests had something to do if it wasn't dancing, drinking, or eating time, or between the ceremony and reception. Plus it was centrally located in downtown Portland for hotels and the light rail.
