Call me silly but I was hoping it'd be Threuteron, simply because it's fun to say.
Also not technically a badge, but close enough: Kappa Sigma HQ has a fantastic carpet with their badge on it.

I'd be afraid to walk on that. I know that it's intended for that, but I just would feel weird. It's cool, though.

Exactly what I was thinking.

This is quite possibly the most beautiful pin that I have ever seen -- gold, chasing, the old style large pearls, and turquoise points along with an unusual rope trim make it truly unique. This is not to mention the diamond on top ...
How about this old Phi Delt badge...

Opal time!

Since this thread's been slow recently, I've decided to compile a list of NPC orgs that at one time or currently allow opals in their badges. Some of these are from GC, so bear with me if you've seen them before.

Alpha Gamma Delta

Alpha Delta Pi

Alpha Xi Delta

Alpha Phi

Gamma Phi Beta

Delta Gamma

Delta Delta Delta

Zeta Tau Alpha

Kappa Alpha Theta

Kappa Kappa Gamma

Pi Beta Phi

Sigma Kappa

Sigma Sigma Sigma

Phi Mu

So it looks like Alpha Epsilon Phi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Chi Omega, Delta Zeta, Delta Phi Epsilon, Kappa Delta, Theta Phi Alpha, Sigma Delta Tau, Phi Sigma Sigma and Chi Omega don't have any photos of opal badges that I know of. 14/26 ain't bad, folks.

Only rubies and pearls for us AOII girls, we aren't allowed any other stones, except for Executive Board members who have diamond badges. There's one pic floating around of an AOII badge with a few green stones on the Pi, but no one I've talked to can remember the story on this badge.

I love opals too, these opal badges are just gorgeous. Thank you for posting these.

The Pi Phi pin with opals is much older -- you can tell by the engraving style on the point. Also, I have never seen an alternating opals/jewels Pi Phi pin; they are usually alternating pearls/jewels. I wonder what the blue stone is? Maybe aquamarine or blue zircon.

My favorite pin that is available now is the alternating pearls/aquamarine pin but it is offered with a plain point and I prefer all the other point styles. The plain point is my least favorite.

I like this garnet and aquamarine combo since it's your colors in jewel form!

ADPis can get sapphire and pearl or aquamarine and pearl to represent our azure blue and white but I don't feel like either of those gems captures azure especially well.

Here's what looks like diamond and garnet:

Rubies and pearls with pretty point chasing:

Pearls in the point:

Pointy point:

Diamond point and a Delta as a guard, which is interesting:

Might as well share all these cool photos since I have them

You're right; I forgot about this one. It even has a unique point that combines the new engraved style point with the diamond point.
But I like pins with blue/white (I have an alternating sapphires/pearls pin with the old jeweled point). I love the pearls/aquamarines because the lighter colored blue is so pretty. I also like the pink pins but I wonder if they will still be in style many years later or if they are just a trend now.

That's the badge that I have on my "someday....someday" wish list.
