Question where to send

hey about recomendations. should they be sent directly to the chapter at the school you're going to attend, and is there a specific format to for one? is there anyone out there who knows a lot about this subject. please help me!

as far as i know, the person writing the recommendation for you knows where to get it, and will send it to the chapter themselves. the only thing you need to do is give them a couple of good headshots of yourself!

i think iowahawkeye is right. for my sorority, your recommender fills out a form about you and she sends it to the chapter herself. it might be helpful for you to give her a few classy-looking headshots of yourself (which she will send on to the chapter to help them recognize you during rush) and maybe also a short resume of your high school accomplishments, since she'll have to write about your leadership and service potential. she may or may not send the resume on to the chapter, but it is nice because it helps her write your rec.
