In addition to Alpha Phi and Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Gamma is presenting to the Panhellenic at Grand Valley State University(MI).

Did this change from Alpha Chi Omega to DG as third presenter? Did DG drop?

The charter for Sigma Alpha Epsilon's Texas Rho chapter at the University of Texas in Austin has been suspended as a result of health-and-safety concerns and an inability to adhere to the national organization’s standards and expectations.

I have been informed that Alpha Chi Omega has withdrawn from the presentations due to concerns over housing issues.

Anyone know anything about Purdue's expansion process? Would love to know when those groups will be announced and presentations will be held (and crossing my fingers for a recolonization of our Gamma Epsilon chapter)!

Why does Purdue keep expanding? The numbers don't seem to support it.

SAE at Texas

SAE at Texas closed, this is an old and powerful chapter probably the strongest chapter in the State of Texas along with Texas Fiji, they have had hazing issues for years, several chapter members assaulted a man out in front of their house last year. Broke the rules by pledging their friends at Austin Community College.
Proves that no chapter, no matter how strong is above the rules.

Honestly it was time to close.

Maybe they are aiming to have smaller pledge classes? That would be the only reason I could think of/have a higher percentage of the members living in.

^This. They have added two groups recently and quota has gone down slightly. I don't see the demand. The pledge classes are good manageable sizes.

And the hits just keep on coming. The following chapters have been closed by their university or national organizations:

New York University- Phi Gamma Delta and Pi Kappa Alpha

https://www.nyunews.com/2017/11/08/n...us-for-hazing/ **Note the newspaper used a picture of the Pi Kappa Phi house instead of the Pi Kappa Alpha house

Penn State University- Delta Tau Delta

Grand Valley State University(MI)- Sigma Phi Epsilon

Delta Delta Delta has closed their chapter at the University of Arizona. Closure is due to a decline in membership numbers. There are currently plans to return in '22.

That's too bad; I know they tried for a long time to bring numbers up. I imagine there will be several groups interested in renting their house for the next four years. I hope their new members weren't initiated yet.

Pi Lambda Phi will be returning to Ohio State University in Fall '18, the University of Cincinnati(OH) in Spring '19, and East Carolina University(NC) this spring.
