Working Together
Ladies...
First off, I'd just like to say that I have the greatest respect for your organization- I have never known a single AKA to be anything less than the classiest, most respectful, and dignified woman around. I've worked on PanHel with NPHC groups, and the thing that has struck me most is the inviolate sense of self-respect and dedication that you ladies possess.
One thing I encountered on Panhel was the division between PHA and NPHC groups... this is something that has apparently "always been" on my campus, and I was told it had a lot to do with numbers- PHA groups generally have about 50-90 members, while our NPHC groups have 5-10. My question is this: is this the norm across the board? I would love to get my chapter involved in joint service projects with NPHC groups, because honestly, I think we have a lot to learn from ya'll's dedication to social responsibility. Have your chapters ever done projects or events with traditionally white GLOs? And what were they?
"Whatever the letter, we're all Greek together."
