I socred a 64%...not bad for a girl who never lived there.
I am thanking my hubby and his wonderful New Orleans family for indoctrinating me into some of the wonderful customs of this beautiful city!
Had a real shrimp/crawfish boil for the first time last year..complete with newspaper tablecloth.

Yes ma'am, I think it does! As long as you don't put tomatoes in that gumbo, and you know that street is chop-a-too-luss.
I got a 70%. Not bad for a girl from Baton Rouge.

Girlfriend, come on over to my house!!! I'll make the daiquiris -- my grandmother's recipe -- if you make dinner.
What? Doesn't everyone's grandmother have a daiquiri recipe?

I scored an 87% on the "How New Orleans are You?" Quizie!
Considering I was born and raised in uptown NOLA and Metry, I thought I would do well...I miss home now! Happy Ash Wednesday!

EEKappa I know where Broadway is, I lived on State Street and Webster, both near Broadway. Then we moved to Ole Metairie off of Metairie Road onto Homestead Avenue neart Bonnabel and St. Catherine's. Fun times!
