D9 Aspirant question

Hello I have a question for any knowledgeable person that could help me.

The university I attend is large but has a small D9 population and the org I've chosen has one of the smallest chapters with almost all of its members recently graduated.

Now I've done what I think is right by attending an interest meeting last semester for information before I chose and expressed my interest to 2 of the members I know with as much tact as I could pull together.

Problem is both have graduated and I don't think either one of them is interested in guiding in new members or maybe just me. one refers me to the other and the other made sure I was aware of MIP so as soon as it opened up I started that process but I haven't yet been introduced to other members and without being vouched for my app is incomplete.

I'm not sure where to proceed the only members I know don't attend school anymore and this org doesn't really promote their membership. and if they did how could you just walk up to some member and express a genuine interest to someone I don't know without looking/sounding like a fool.

I'm not deterred but I am unsure what to do. if anyone has any input I'd appreciate it.

I applaud your discretion. As such, it might behoove you to contact the specific fraternity's IHQ for guidance on how to proceed. Also, the fraternity's web site might have contact information for an alumni chapter for your school and or area. Also, each NPHC fraternity has their own forum on Greek Chat. You might want to check the forum for the specific fraternity and send a PM to a member of the fraternity for assistance.

Best of luck.
