My advice to you is this...if you go through Formal Recruitment you will visit every house on campus at least once. You should visit each house with an open mind because you could find out that once you get to know another chapter, you like them better; you could find out that the Tri-Deltas aren't as "cool" as you thought and you could discover that you really could be happy in almost any house because you've realized that what is important is being Greek and identifying with the traditions and goals shared by just about every group on campus (scholarship, philanthropy & sisterhood).
Even if you get invited back to Tri-Delta every day, that is no guarantee you will be offered a bid. There is also the chance that once recruitment starts, you won't be invited back to Tri-Delta. What would you do then? Drop rush? If that chapter really wanted to get to know you, they would have invited you back for the next round of events. If all you want is Tri-Delta, you could take your chances that they don't make quota or attain campus total, then you can join through Informal Recruitment. Be warned, though, that there is no more of a guarantee of membership through Informal Recruitment than there is through Formal and there is no guarantee that after Rush, the chapter would be open to accept additional members.
