I'm new here myself, and looking for fraternity related matters... BUT, here's what I know/have found out.
Panhellenic- first "umbrella organization" made for the Greek system, founded in 1902, and has 26 member organizations (Greek letter organizations).
National Pan-hellenic- are more of the traditional African-American sororities (dunno that much about them, sorry)
Multicultural - "Multicultural sororities belong to one of the newest branches of Greek life. These organizations can be identified by their dedication to multiculturalism, equality and the idea that all people are part of a human family. Generally, multicultural sororities were founded by women of very diverse backgrounds who desired the benefits of bringing women together from similarly diverse backgrounds." (
