Everything Geek goes here...
Been wanting to do this one for awhile. We need a thread that discusses everything from gadgets to gaming.
I know there are probably some closet comic readers here too.
So if you want to talk about your latest mobile phone or any gear that has you geeked out, post it here.
You got PC questions you want to ask? Go for it....let's make this thread useful!

I'm a bit mainstream I'm afraid. I used to be a hard core Marvel fan until about 3 years ago and the disaster that was Civil War. WHY MARVEL WHY?!? So much potential for a good story line though they ruined it. Stopped reading all together for a while but now I'm starting into Ultimate Marvel again. My only experience prior was The Ultimate V1, but reading Ultimate Spidey now. I will probably keep reading Ultimate until I get to a point were they fuck that up. Probably Ultimatum. Why does Marvel not realize that massive crossovers are a bad idea. They never work the way they are supposed to. Then again singular lines have been fucked up due to over complicated plots. Look how many times they have raped Spidey. *Shudders at clone saga and the Other.* But depending what I hear about Heroic age I might start reading 616 again.
And might as well get the full level of my geekdom out. I also participate in various forms of RPGs, both fanon and original.

Microsoft's Kinetic and Nintendo's 3DS made the show...Sony's Move is pretty much making the PS3 into the Wii HD and their peripheral looks like....... an adult toy.......just my opinion

I'm currently still working on Little Big Planet. Live-in is playing Red Dead Redemption though so I haven't even picked up a controller in about 3 weeks.
I appreciate comics although I don't read them. I got tickets to C2E2 for live-in for his birthday, and I had fun. I was intrigued by some of the comics and have it in my mind to pick one up and see if I liked them. Live-in right now is big into the Secret Avengers although he's still trying to figure out who the Red Hulk is as well as getting into Umbrella Academy.

Secret Avengers is good? Was debating finding a shop to pick up a copy of that.

Live-in was excited enough to go to the comic book store on a Wednesday. He hasn't done that since he was a little kid. He also bought one to read and one to keep.

So far...not all that crazy with The Heroic Age Marvel is pushing now but at least a summer can go by without a big crossover event going on.
BTW who is getting an iPhone 4 this week? Stories??

I love comics, but I've never bought them, I feel weird about this.
However I love that libraries get the graphic novels/book releases now.

I haven't played LBP in months. I am looking forward to the sequel though. You may like Modnation Racers. The best way I can describe it is the customization of LBP meets Mario Kart. Its sooo fun.
I've heard good things about RDR.

He plays the types of games that you want to play all the way through as fast as possible. I play the ones that you can set down and walk away from.
Unfortunately, that means I don't get to play much.
I think Live-in said he was excited about the new Mario Galaxy though... that one will be fun.

idk I'm hopeful for Heroic Age. usually what happens is that Marvel fucks thing up for 3-5 years then tries to fix it with something else. Sounds like what they are doing with Heroic Agr.

I preordered the iphone but I won't get it till after July 17th. The game I'm looking forward to this year is INFAMOUS 2!! MArvel Vs Capcom should be good as well.
I used to be big into comics when I was a pre-teen, mostly X-men. The cross-overs tended to be ridiculous then, so I can only guess how they are now. I still enjoy reading the X-men comics from the 70s and 80s but really havent kept up with them since that cross over where Professor X turned into that massive asshole and EVERYONE had to come and fight him.
