Put this in the wrong thread at first!!

Alright, I finally googled my username and I am not happy that I am not the only nittanyalum out there. Sure, I realize there are thousands and thousands of Penn State alums out there, but still... So one nittanyalum appears to be in the book selling/swapping arena, there are links to the name on paperbackswap.com and bookmooch.com (bookmooch?). And then there's a nittanyalum with links to a mothering.com forum and what cracks me up is the link with the title "Should I get this looked at?" LOL! Turns out it's about her baby's non-circumsized pediddle. Uh, yeah, no. I clicked into the second page of links and got too depressed seeing how many nittanyalums apparently exist. Here, I thought I was more unique... oh well.

NA, you'll always be the only nittanyalum we care about at GC!

Meanwhile, If I google my username, the first hit I get is this.

(Go ahead . . . click and ask me anything.)

If I do an image search, I get this:

But the image right next to it is this (from 1913):

I just found out I have a MySpace page. And, I'm 30 years old. Hmmm...I like it!

GC Benzgirl is the third hit.

I was wondering why this thread had reached 13 pages...and then I read through it. This may go down in GC history.

I personally enjoyed the OP's live journal or whatever that was. Everyone loves a trainwreck.

Google gave me GC as the first link. About seven links down, FB says that I am of Asian descent, and have a total of 4 friends, three of them living in Australia. Dang, I've always wanted to visit Australia! The rest of the links are to random mathematical or scientific publications, or sites that use the Roman numerals XI.

This is the first image I get on a google image search of 33girl. (It isn't me. Although I do like that shirt.)

GIS on AlphaFrog nets you AKA gear, random frogs, and a bunch of pics that I've posted on GC, including the Flaming Chicken (the one that's supposed to be a Phoenix).

ETA: Also, the "In Before the Lock" pic that Google brings up takes you to a thread from 2007, which I think might be the first incident of "QFP" on GC (well, at least actually using the letters QFP).

Oh, so is this what we say about me behind my back?

That nASTy comment used to be made when I was in school, but surprisingly enough, none of the active members even know what I'm talking about when I mention it. Probably because the one fraternity that would say it to us all the time is no longer on campus.

.. but remember, you can't have a blAST without them, either! haha

Oh, and trust me, the chapter president has been talked to a few times about this girl. Whether or not she's passed, I don't know. But maybe there was a reason they "couldn't figure out what to do" when she failed the test the first time.

Continuing the thread derailment

Google search on aephi alum: First hit is an Emory AEPhi alumnae site. Second hit is my GC profile. Third hit is the Alpha Epsilon Phi - Alumni [sic] group on Facebook.

Google image search on aephi alum: First hit is a cross stitch I posted on GC in 2007.

Wow. That is really pretty I had a roommate that did cross stitching and her pieces always came out gorgeous.

OMG, is all I have to say. It's bad enough to Google her user name and find the journal bashing her roommate, but did I really need to see pictures of her plastic surgery results that are posted online?
