My daughters badge. Mine is on the left and her's is on the right. It's white gold, all pearl with diamond phi points. I'll get a better picture when she gets home from school this week. The iphone camera doesn't do it justice. I'm just so excited she finally has it.

You'd be surprised that you'll get excellent pictures with an iPhone. Very nice. I can't wait it see your daughter's badge better with the diamond points.

2 New (to me) Badges!

So I had to bite on this one because of the light amethyst points.... then when I was home today, I picked up my stepsister's old badge (fall 1998). It's amazing how unclear the letters are on the 1998 more matte opaque orangeish/ reddish enamel, yet I still like them both. Picture of the back/ clasp for AZTheta. Sorry for poor quality. I'm tired and took them with iPhone on my laptop. : )

There is an amazing Phi Mu badge on THAT site.

12 sapphires on the points and 12 pearls
Delta Mu chapter guard and pearl, key and lamp dangle.

on the back it says: L.A.C. 1-10-87

I really hope a Phi Mu gets it!

Regarding 1917 Gamma Phi Beta badge, what Greek Letters are on the chapter guard? Or is that an officer dangle?

That looks like a Xi, which would be the University of Idaho, chartered in 1910.

The description says it's a Xi, based on the name engraved on the back

Forever ago I mentioned Phi Beta was considering a special edition badge for our Centennial (we turned 100 on May 5th!). We ended up going an entirely different route. Here's the photo on HJGreek of the final pin design.

Also I finally took a decent photo of my own badge. White gold. No jewels (our jeweled badge can only have pearls, which I've never been very fond of - sorry pearl lovers).

I saw some new initiates' 14K Yellow Gold badges recently that were gorgeous, too. (Much more attractive than the basic gold gloss most new members get). I'm going to make a point of grabbing some photos of our pearl badge at our Convention this summer. Specifically for this thread.

SilverTurtle - that's one classy white gold badge. What's the length measurement?
