Just found out that one of my co-workers is a Phi Mu Delta. and the daughter of another co-worker is a Phi Mu.
At work, my known tally is now me, APhiA, TKE, and PMD.

At my last job there were a couple of Greeks. One was in a local sorority and the other was a SIA. As for my current job, the office is very small and I'm not even sure if any of my coworkers even went to a 4-year college!

Considering that my current workplace is staffed almost entirely by college students, it's not surprising that there's a few Greeks floating about.
Me (ADPi)

DDD
AST

I'm sure there's more I don't know of yet!

My new secretary is a Theta. We bonded in the interview when I asked her, "we have several large events each year and even in the day to day operations, hospitality is extremely important, what experience or gifts would you bring?"
Her reply? "It's a lot like what I planned for in rush. You do a lot of preparation so that you can welcome strangers into your "home". You try to put them at ease, get to know them and see what connections you can make, all the while putting your best foot forward. Then you send that group on their way with a fond farewell, and get ready to do it again."
Hired.

This is seriously the BEST answer ever! It's the poster-child for ways in which you can put a really positive spin on your Greek Life experience and especially in interviews. Just, wow. Sounds like you made the right choice!

She's great, and I do believe that sorority and fraternity life does give you some amazing life skills. She discovered I am greek, and she found a way to work in that connection, so I knew she was savvy too, and had done her homework. (Again, just like rush. Know who is coming thru the door, lol)

I can't believe I never posted this one before: At my first newspaper job, one of my bosses was my dad's Tau Delta Phi chapter brother at Illinois! He pledged the semester after my dad graduated, so they never knew each other, but I still thought that was really cool. (Needless to say, said boss and I got along splendidly.)
