Zeta-Upsilon Is Back, But Never Really Left!

Brothers,

Just to let you know, Zeta-Upsilon at the historic Miami University in Oxford, Ohio has just been re-chartered!

We will celebrate seventy years on Miami's campus in January, 2010. First as as a local group in 1940 and then as a Zeta starting in 1950.

We have a talented, active, and well respected group of young men representing our Fraternity.

They have done big things - and will do more!

They are a fine reflection of what we all know as the real meaning of Lambda Chi Alpha.

We really never left campus - Lambda Chi Alpha was active at all times through its Alumni Association - our meetings, banquets, parties, scholarships, (even our ill-fated LCAP involvement), etc. bridged the short time we only had a transfer student or two or graduate school member on campus.

Our flag flew at football games, we had tail gate parties, we took care of the House on Bishop Street, newsletters went out every month, visits were made to IHQ, constant communications with the Greek Affairs Office were maintained, and we had alumni delegates at each GA.

We never left Lambda Chi Alpha and we never will!

Zeta-Upsilon ZETA. Yes, that sounds right!

Yours in ZAX,

Mike, "One Proud Lambda Chi," Raymond

SUPER

And to celebrate, I have a prospective for you: He's from California but has chosen Miami, Ohio. His father is a Mu Zeta alumnus. Details to follow.

Welcome back, ZY !!!

This is always great news. I love reading about the fraternity growing rather than getting smaller.

Congrats to ZY! Put my history book to good use.

When was the breakthrough? I knew they'd been a struggling colony for a few years and they'd had some LCAP issues as well. Regardless, congrats to ZY once again!
