NEED HELP! rush ideas
hi everyone, im sort of new here. im currently a founding father of my fraternity, and we were recently chartered. everything is going good so far, but me and the rest of my brothers are not sure what to do for rush next semester. because we are a new fraternity on our campus, we have to compete extra hard to get people to look at us. would anybody here be able to tell me what are some really goof rush ideas for next semester. we also dont have a house, but instead have satellite houses.

Be very selective. If you worry about numbers then quality suffers and that is much more important in terms of assembling a group of guys that you can call your friends. Don't bid anyone unless they can contribute to your chapter, don't bid anyone below a 2.0 or anyone who is socially awkward.

You always need a few socially awkward guys to be treasurer and secretary.
Also, a lot of people are awkward as freshmen and come out more once they get a feel for their surroundings and feel cared about by the chapter.

You couldn't possibly be further from the truth. The treasurer is likely someone who will be breaking into the finance/banking/money field and those guys can't be socially inept or they won't get any business therefore not making any money. The secretary, well a social guy can do that as well as anyone. You don't want to rush guys who when they are around girls and such that they make everyone around them uncomfortable. Not everyone is cut out to be in a fraternity, it's up to us to remain true to our high standards of gentleman and get the best of the best.
