New Sorority Complex on campus.
Reported in the Kansas City Star today.
Sororitys on the campus of William-Jewell College are in the process of getting money to build a new Sorority complex for the 4 organizations there.
The school North East of the Kansas City metro area has never had Houses for the groups who have been housed in one of the dorms.
The Fraternites, LXA, SN, Fiji, and KA have had houses, but now, the Sororities, ADPi, AGD, KD, and ZTA will have seperate houses.
They will be built on School property with a cost of @ 12 Million dollars.
Hooray for them in the process of getting new houses.

Congratulations to the sororities of William Jewell.
Donation aids complex

The Kansas City Star
An anonymous $2 million donation is enough for William Jewell College to break ground on a Sorority Complex and Greek Commons.
The college has raised $9 million of the $12 million needed to complete the complex, which will include four sorority houses and will accommodate 250 residents. Officials hope to open it by 2009.
The donor was identified only as a William Jewell alumna.
William Jewell’s sororities are now housed in a part of a residence hall built in 1957. The new complex is scheduled for the former site of a married-housing complex leveled by a tornado in May 2003.
The sororities are Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Delta Zeta and Zeta Tau Alpha.

Please check your facts before you post. KD does not have a chapter at this school.

Maybe an Univ of West Georgia alumna would considering making a huge financial contribution to the school b/c we are considering the feasibility of having a Greek village. Our 1st meeting is Friday.

An anonymous 2 million dollar donation - wow! For two million bucks, I'd want the complex named after me!

Excuse me, I am in error and you are correct.
I guess I gave credit due where it was not warrented.
The one I did wrong is Delta Zeta, not KD.
Now that I have corrected this, I hope your mind is at ease.

Am I the only one who, upon seeing this subject heading, assumed that "sorority complex" referred to the complex unattractive girls develop when joining a relatively attractive sorority house?

I am 99.9% sure that yes, you are the only one that thought that. Bizarre.
