New DG on Greek Chat
Hey All,
I am a new registered member on GreekChat. I have been viewing the threads for a while, but I never took the time to register.
I just graduated from SMU, and now I am going to go to A&M for graduate school.
I am really excited because I have already been in contact with the DG Alum chapter in College Station, and I am going to help the DGs with recruitment. It's going to be a little wierd helping out with recruitment as an alum, because I am so used to being very involved with the recruitment process. I was on EVC one year, and my senior year I was Panhellenic VP Recruitment.
Anyway, I look foward to being able to post and reply to threads now!

When we were doing recruitment this year, we found a book of old DG songs called "Songs in the Key of DG." There's a great one called the "Romper Song" that is absolutely hysterical; it's all about how your man will love you if you're a DG, your daughter will be a DG, your son will "rush" the DGs, and you'll go to Heaven because you're a DG. Gotta love walk songs!

Hey ladies.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a collegian from Waterloo, ON, Canada at the Zeta Omicron chapter. One of my sisters introduced me to this website today and it is fantastic. It seems like such a great way to get to know and keep in touch with sisters from all over. I am addicted already!
We are starting formal recruitment on Monday, so we are soooo very excited, so wish ZO luck! Our vp: membership has planned an amazing recruitment so snaps to her. It is going to be great.
Can't wait to get to know you all.

We used to sing that song at Beta Psi-Alabama. It was one of our favorites! I really miss singing in the dining room, between the meal and dessert. *sigh*
