And check out the Cosmo article about beautiful sorority houses. ADPi (Delta Sigma chapter), Phi Mu (Alpha Delta chapter), and Kappa Kappa Gamma (Delta Rho chapter) are all featured (Ole Miss chapters)!

Kansas State update--AGD and TKE

I don't know if this fits here, but I really didn't want to start a new thread. Alpha Gamma Delta recolonized at K-State in 2015. They have not had a house this entire time, which I am sure has been very challenging. Last fall, I saw the announcement on their twitter feed that they had closed on land on the corner of Sunset and Anderson and planned to build. This would be north down the hill from the old Sigma Nu House, or across the street to the west of Alpha Xi Delta.

I was in Manhattan last week and drove past what used to be the TKE house on 1516 N. Manhattan Ave. There is a sign out front that says it's the future home of AGD! Sure enouugh, there is a recent tweet on their feed that says they are renovating the house into a 60 bed facility and will be recruiting and living there in the fall of 2019!!

This is very exciting news for AGD, but I had no idea that TKE had lost their house. Here is a link to a Manhattan Mercury article about TKE and the situation of fraternities in general. http://themercury.com/news/some-k-st...deeec7890.html

The images are beautiful. However, the location is not the best. The KAT house will be built on the Phi Sigma Kappa parking lot which is literally next to the I-85 Freeway. I guess this was the only available piece of land at this time.

The location is not ideal. If you look at Hug & Associates website, one of the other items under greek housing is the master planning for the Georgia Tech campus. There are several other potential housing locations.
