Mr. KDR and I went to the coast for an extended weekend last week. I picked up a book called "Crazy Love" by Leslie Morgan Steiner at a 2nd hand book store. I completely devoured the book in 48 hours. I could not put it down.

I just finished Grunt by Mary Roach. This is my first Roach book, and I have to say I'm hooked! She's pretty skillful at exploring the science side of an otherwise pretty uninteresting topic for me (the military). Her footnotes are also pretty spectacular. Highly recommend her if you haven't read any of her stuff yet. I'm headed to the library later today to pick up Stiff (also by her, but about mortuary science).

Rereading Ilium by Dan Simmons. About to start Olympos by the same author.

Need some suggestions!! I'm into sci-fi. Free is good, but I'll pay for quality.
