It's Found

I'm not sure if you guys will know what I'm talking about, but I'll do my best to explain...

Do you know the little prayer type thingy you say when you lose something...and right after you say it, you will always find what it is you were looking for. It's kind of creepy the way it works out. It has something to do with the patron saint of lost things????

My friend lost her keys the other day and this random guy made her say the verse and she found them

Does anyone know what I'm talkign about?

This is a shot in the dark, but my best friends family is Catholic and when her mom loses ANYTHING she says a prayer to St. Anthony (I'm pretty sure this is his name) and I guess he is the patron saint of lost things. She also swears by it, but thats my guess for you.

FYI if you can't tell I'm so not catholic LOL

I'm Catholic, and it is St. Anthony.

The "prayer" (it's more of a ditty) goes:

"Saint Anthony, Saint Anthony, please come 'round.
Something is lost, and needs to be found."

Say it with true humility and sincerity, and it usually works! But, you have to believe....

One of my students once told me "Everything is always where you think it isn't." He was right! Thanks for the prayers. I lose everything I lay my hands on.
