Fraternity Chapters
What chapters don’t have rules against joining another fraternity after dropping another in there bylaws?

Per NIC bylaws, you cannot join a second NIC fraternity unless the first one informs the second in writing that you are no longer a member. That being said, there are organizations that will not pledge somebody who have already been initiated elsewhere. Even if a fraternity allows it on a national level, there are chapters that might not allow it. So nobody can really tell you, but your chances aren't good.

If you read what I said, then you would have seen the answer to that.

He's been asking me similar questions via PM, but directed at himself. For clarification, you are allowed to join another NIC fraternity if and only if you have already resigned membership and have been released by national. Then you have to formally write a letter to the prospective NIC fraternities you wish to join stating your resignation. However, that DOES NOT MEAN another fraternity will let you join. It is essentially up to each fraternity to decide whether or not they want you.

Actually the national office of the first fraternity has to inform the other fraternity in writing of this.

My mistake. My old fraternity just told me to do it myself and add their contact information for verification. I didn't receive any follow-ups so I assumed it all worked out.
